Hopes of thousands of fans around the world have come true. Diablo III is now not only a rumor. The game is coming. Blizzard made the announcement in this regard.

 2008 Worldwide Invitational of Blizzard Entertainment Inc is being held at Porte de Versailles Convention Centre in Paris, France. There were announcements regarding the expansion of the World of Warcraft. Updates were also given about Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft II. But the showstopper was the announcement about the sequel in the Diablo series, Diablo III.

 Diablo III is a continuation of the story and will pick up from 20 years after Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have all been defeated. Worldstone has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. The players will play the hero and acquire  powerful items, spells, and abilities. They will battle dozens of demons to safeguard the world.

 Blizzard is using a new custom 3D graphics. This renders incredible indoor and outdoor environments of the Sanctuary. The special effects are really going to be enjoyed by the players. The game’s physics-enhanced environments will be interactive and destructible. They will offer traps and obstacles for both players as well as the monsters. Random scripted events will give Diablo III an amazing combination of dynamic game play.
